1. The Ghost of Anne Boleyn - This is probably one of the most well-known ghost stories in England, or at least among Tudor enthusiasts. Anne's ghost is said to haunt several sites around England, but one of the most interesting sightings in my opinion, is when her apparition appears at her childhood home, Hever Castle every year on Christmas Eve. According to visitors of the historical castle (and workers, as well), Anne Boleyn is said to arrive in a horse-drawn carriage up the long pathway leading to the castle - (the horses are headless, mind you).
