Although Henry did have a tomb built for him and Jane to be buried in together as proper husband and wife, now I think this was only out of respect and appreciation to her for giving him an heir (and maybe because she didn't cheat on him or do anything else offensive to him). I don't necessarily think that, by declaring her his 'true wife and love', he actually loved her more than any of his other wives.
I realize that this opinion is qute different from my previous post about Jane, but I think it's kind of funny that I now have these two opinions freely expressed here - it just shows how much you don't know when you think you do. I had this wonderful opinion of Jane until I read a book of cold, hard facts about her and her royal marriage - and now I realize that she is, in fact, dull.
What are your thoughts?
