After "The Chalice," I plan on reading Sandra Byrd's newest novel, "Roses Have Thorns," which takes place during Queen Elizabeth I's reign. Sandra's publisher kindly sent me a copy of the book to read and review, and I'm really looking forward to it. From what I've read about it online from other reviewers, it won't disappoint! I know many of my readers have also enjoyed Sandra's other books, so I'm looking forward to reviewing this one for you. Keep an eye out for that review within the next few weeks!
That's right, Tudor Enthusiasts - this website and blog is going to be TWO YEARS OLD on July 23rd!!! A competition of some sort is in order, so I'll be thinking about that (and I'll be happy to take suggestions)!
I'm also going to make more of an effort to post pictures, statuses, and whatever else seems appropriate, on the Tudor Enthusiast Facebook page. I love when discussions start because of something on the page, and I definitely have Facebook to thank for a lot of the readership the website has now. (We now have 1,542 fans!) THANK YOU to everyone who has joined our Tudor community through Facebook. I promise I'll spend more time on the page, posting and talking to you all about our wonderful Tudor topics!
Also, I know I say this sometimes.... I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has emailed me telling me how much you enjoy the blog and website. You have no idea how much it means to me to hear from you - especially because blogging can be hard with my busy schedule. Reading your kind words of thanks and encouragement always brings a smile to my face and just makes me want to write more! I really appreciate it. None of you need to read my blogs, so the fact that you do it anyway makes me so happy and grateful. I'm always reminded why I started this blog in the first place - Because the Tudors are GREAT people to write about!
With all that being said, keep an eye out both here and on the Facebook page for 1) Book reviews, 2) More frequent blog posts, 3) New Facebook pictures, statuses, discussion pieces, etc., and 4) Information on the 2 year anniversary contest/giveaway!
And if you're on Twitter, don't forget that you can also find me there - @TudorEnthusiast.
Thank you so much for your continued support and love!
-Stephanie, The Tudor Enthusiast
